ABOUT the therapist
Hello! I'm Marisol Robinson, a dedicated and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with eight years of professional experience. My journey in this field has allowed me to cultivate a unique and diverse background assisting both adults and children improve their communication and well-being.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Utah in 2015, followed by a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2017. My career began at the Bennion Veterans Home in Payson, UT, where I spent three years serving veterans, gaining invaluable expertise in addressing a wide range of speech and language needs related to speech and voice muscles, swallowing difficulties, acid reflux, verbal expression, language comprehension, memory, and executive functioning.
Additionally, I've dedicated five years to supporting students in elementary, middle, and high schools, helping them build confidence and effective communication skills. My work involves articulation improvement, correction of phonological processes, expressive and receptive language development, word finding, and social skills enhancement.
I'm deeply committed to the well-being of our community and passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills to enhance the lives of those I serve. Together, let's embark on a journey towards improved communication and well-being!

A tongue thrust is when the tongue pushes forward against the front teeth when a person swallows or speaks. This could cause an overbite and multiple treatments of orthodontics.
